Marietta Surpass Cobb and State on 2009 Georgia High School Graduation Test (GHSGT) More than 90% of Marietta’s students reached advanced performance levels in ELA (95%), Mathematics (98%), and Social Studies (92%). Marietta netted a 90% pass rate (on par with Georgia) on the Science test.

In order for Marietta High School to meet 2008 Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) under No Child Left Behind, 11th grade students must have a minimum of 87.7% meets and exceeds rate for English/Language Arts in all groups and subgroups on the GHSGT.
